Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gräfingd's Ole Quint started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Gräfingd's Rainer Wulf got control of the ball when Gerhard LaRouche tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Gräfingd booed when FC Kekospor 23 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Langer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johannes Eichwald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ole Quint, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute Ole Quint shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johannes Eichwald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The nice shot from Gerhard LaRouche in the 10thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Rainer Wulf had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Rainer Wulf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kekospor 23. The audience was convinced that Ole Quint's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johannes Eichwald was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Johannes Eichwald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ole Quint in the 21st minute of play. Ole Quint received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. If Ole Quint had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Olaf Rehmer came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Gräfingd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olaf Rehmer couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ole Quint in the 47th minute of play forced FC Kekospor 23's goalkeeper Johannes Eichwald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcel Tegtmeyer to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gräfingd's goalkeeper Rainer Wulf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Dimo Seibt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ole Quint recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ole Quint sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute of the match Peter Flüß shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rainer Wulf showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Gräfingd's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Tegtmeyer came free, but Rainer Wulf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Marcel Tegtmeyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rainer Wulf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ole Quint had several of the FC Kekospor 23's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 77 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Johannes Eichwald as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Matti Renn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gräfingd's supporters rose to their feet, but Matti Renn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johannes Eichwald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olaf Rehmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Eichwald having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Kekospor 23's Sandro Langer got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute Ole Quint shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johannes Eichwald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gräfingd's Matti Renn was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 87th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Tegtmeyer in the 91st minute of play forced Gräfingd's goalkeeper Rainer Wulf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Gräfingd could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Kekospor 23 throughout the match.
