A wasted opportunity for Rodgauer Talentschmiede. 9 minutes into the match, Kickers Lintfort's goal looked a bit too open when Janko Ludewig came free, but Mattias Froehlich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Martin Bresonik recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mattias Froehlich. Martin Bresonik showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. If Janko Ludewig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the game, Kickers Lintfort's Jascha Faber nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mark Ulitzka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Mark Ulitzka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis Michel in the 22nd minute of the match. Mattias Froehlich didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 25th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. If Costa Schlösser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Martin Bresonik took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Mattias Froehlich to make any attempt to save it. In the 33rd minute, Rodgauer Talentschmiede's Janko Ludewig dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-1. Mattias Froehlich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Bresonik in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to Rodgauer Talentschmiede getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Frank Bermel hit a great ball. Rodgauer Talentschmiede's Mark Ulitzka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Dahlinger in the 44th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Martin Bresonik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Louis Michel to make the kick off. Martin Bresonik might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mattias Froehlich. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Bresonik ran back to his position shaking his head. Janko Ludewig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Froehlich having to interfere. A collision led to Rodgauer Talentschmiede getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Sierk Gädechens hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Opus Ziener got free with Mark Ulitzka in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mark Ulitzka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximilian Beutel in the 60th minute. The supporters of Kickers Lintfort booed when Rodgauer Talentschmiede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Bresonik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Louis Michel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kickers Lintfort's Mattias Froehlich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Bresonik in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Martin Bresonik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mattias Froehlich. Kickers Lintfort's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Bresonik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. Mark Ulitzka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Allan Dahlinger went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-3 was the resulting score. 79 minutes into the game, Jascha Faber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kickers Lintfort's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rodgauer Talentschmiede the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kickers Lintfort fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Michel in the 90th minute of play forced Rodgauer Talentschmiede's goalkeeper Mark Ulitzka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Martin Bresonik fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rodgauer Talentschmiede's protests and gave Martin Bresonik a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kickers Lintfort booed when Rodgauer Talentschmiede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Bresonik didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Kickers Lintfort's Mark Ulitzka threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Louis Michel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kickers Lintfort's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
