Elias Jansen struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Nolan Waldner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wolfskehlen FC. Nolan Waldner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Jansen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronny Machleid took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nolan Waldner. Nolan Waldner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Mark Brouwer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennard Meidel in the 29th minute of play forced Wolfskehlen FC's goalkeeper Morgan Heuer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Mark Brouwer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 33 minutes into the match, Wolfskehlen FC's goalkeeper Morgan Heuer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mark Brouwer. 34 minutes into the match, FC Bernhardswald's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Jansen came free, but Nolan Waldner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Gottfried Kunze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ronny Machleid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Lauro Dey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bernhardswald's zone, Elias Jansen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nolan Waldner came out of the goal and Elias Jansen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronny Machleid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Nolan Waldner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Wolfskehlen FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Jansen to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, FC Bernhardswald's goalkeeper Nolan Waldner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronny Machleid. In the 56th minute, Lennard Meidel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mark Brouwer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Morgan Heuer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Elias Jansen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Bernhardswald getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Lauro Dey hit a great ball. Elias Jansen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Nolan Waldner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronny Machleid got free with Nolan Waldner in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Wolfskehlen FC's goalkeeper Morgan Heuer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nolan Waldner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Jansen, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The Wolfskehlen FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Wolfskehlen FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
