Lennard Meidel struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Mattias Froehlich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bernhardswald. 7 minutes into the game, Maximilian Beutel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kickers Lintfort's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Bernhardswald the free kick. Maximilian Beutel hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Mattias Froehlich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennard Meidel in the 10th minute of play. When Maximilian Beutel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 12 minutes had been played. In the 13th minute, Maximilian Beutel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mark Brouwer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Froehlich having to interfere. Kickers Lintfort's Mattias Froehlich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennard Meidel in the 18th minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Kickers Lintfort was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Louis Michel to maneuver through the defense. Allan Dahlinger struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Nolan Waldner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kickers Lintfort. Kickers Lintfort's Allan Dahlinger came free and shot a quick shot against goal 38 minutes in the game, fortunately Nolan Waldner had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 39th minute, Jascha Faber ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nolan Waldner was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Louis Michel came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Kickers Lintfort fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Louis Michel couldn't finish the play. Allan Dahlinger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute, Allan Dahlinger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 55 minutes, Sebastian Danczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kickers Lintfort's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Danczyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 57 played minutes, Kickers Lintfort's Thoralf Holl shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nolan Waldner came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kickers Lintfort reached it. Mattias Froehlich made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Brouwer in the 58th minute. In the 62nd minute, Gottfried Kunze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Allan Dahlinger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nolan Waldner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Sebastian Danczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Nolan Waldner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Allan Dahlinger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nolan Waldner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Dahlinger, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. When Lauro Dey fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Bernhardswald's protests and gave Lauro Dey a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Bernhardswald's Lauro Dey got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75thth minute of the game Allan Dahlinger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Bernhardswald's Nolan Waldner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Allan Dahlinger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nolan Waldner was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Lauro Dey was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 88th minute, Lauro Dey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Allan Dahlinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Allan Dahlinger came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Kickers Lintfort fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Allan Dahlinger couldn't finish the play. Kickers Lintfort fully deserved thier win.
