Marko Ebenfeld came out of the goal and Cornelius Beauregard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Graf Bernhard zur Lippe's Marko Ebenfeld proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Graf Bernhard zur Lippe from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute Janko Ludewig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Ebenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marko Ebenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Bresonik in the 30th minute of play. Rodgauer Talentschmiede's Mark Ulitzka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Franke in the 31st minute of play. Janko Ludewig hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Gregorij Schmid hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Marko Ebenfeld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costa Schlösser, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Rodgauer Talentschmiede's Martin Bresonik slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marko Ebenfeld. That made the score 2-0 after 40 minutes of play. In the 45th match minute, Rodgauer Talentschmiede was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Bermel to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Janko Ludewig made the kick off in the second half. Justin Bausch struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Marko Ebenfeld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rodgauer Talentschmiede. 53 minutes into the match, Justin Bausch notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Graf Bernhard zur Lippe's Marko Ebenfeld. Marko Ebenfeld was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Graf Bernhard zur Lippe's Marko Ebenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janko Ludewig in the 56th minute of play. Graf Bernhard zur Lippe's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 72 minutes into the match, Edmund Weiss had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mark Ulitzka. Rodgauer Talentschmiede's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmund Weiss was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Frank Bermel's late challenge caught a Graf Bernhard zur Lippe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Bermel helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Rodgauer Talentschmiede got a freekick which was hit by Frank Bermel. Martin Bresonik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Marko Ebenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Bresonik might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marko Ebenfeld. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Bresonik ran back to his position shaking his head. Marko Ebenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janko Ludewig in the 88th minute of play. Marko Ebenfeld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janko Ludewig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Bresonik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
