An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Mauz in the 6th minute of play forced Lierenfeld FC's goalkeeper Georg Tippenhauer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Georg Tippenhauer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Mauz in the 7th minute of play. Ergün Messerschmitt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claus Wassermann in the 8th minute of play. Willi Wiegenstein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Georg Tippenhauer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ergün Messerschmitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claus Wassermann in the 21st minute of the match. Claus Wassermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Willi Wiegenstein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Tippenhauer having to interfere. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lierenfeld FC's goalkeeper Georg Tippenhauer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willi Wiegenstein in the 33rd minute of play forced Lierenfeld FC's goalkeeper Georg Tippenhauer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Julius Kamp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When ESKİSEHİR SK's Willi Wiegenstein in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claus Wassermann to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Bernt Mauz managed to get in a good position for a shot. ESKİSEHİR SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernt Mauz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georg Tippenhauer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claus Wassermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ergün Messerschmitt came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Lierenfeld FC's Claus Wassermann. But to his dismay, Claus Wassermann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benny Leyh during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Claus Wassermann struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Ergün Messerschmitt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lierenfeld FC. Claus Wassermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ergün Messerschmitt having to interfere. Claus Wassermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ergün Messerschmitt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ESKİSEHİR SK's Ergün Messerschmitt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claus Wassermann in the 86th minute of play. Lierenfeld FC's Arnold Geldreich got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind ESKİSEHİR SK's goalkeeper Ergün Messerschmitt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eckart Lohmiller hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Lierenfeld FC's Daniel Noce got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Willi Wiegenstein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute.
