If Joris Altliebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Joris Altliebe came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the SV Woltersdorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joris Altliebe couldn't finish the play. If Aimé Neumer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esens's Adam Reichwein proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Esens from getting a goal against them. Rachid Kilz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jupp Zagorski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Henning Uhl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jupp Zagorski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gordon Schipploch in the 25th minute of the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Reinhold Rehm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Woltersdorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinhold Rehm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Joris Altliebe made a precise shot to the right of Adam Reichwein. Esens's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 34 minutes into the match, Rachid Kilz notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of SV Woltersdorf's Jupp Zagorski. Jupp Zagorski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gordon Schipploch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aimé Neumer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Reichwein having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gordon Schipploch made a kick off. Jupp Zagorski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gordon Schipploch in the 56th minute of play. Jupp Zagorski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gordon Schipploch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Gordon Schipploch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jupp Zagorski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aimé Neumer kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes SV Woltersdorf got a freekick which was hit by Aimé Neumer. After having played for 66 minutes, Placido Jakobi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Woltersdorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Jakobi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, SV Woltersdorf's goalkeeper Jupp Zagorski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rachid Kilz. Placido Jakobi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adam Reichwein having to make a save. In the 81st minute of the match Rando Bechtron shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adam Reichwein showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Andreas Arnold kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Esens getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Derek Utzig hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joris Altliebe in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adam Reichwein prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jupp Zagorski made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Rachid Kilz sent off a good shot on target. Rachid Kilz scored 1-5 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jupp Zagorski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The SV Woltersdorf supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Esens's performance. The match ended with a win for Esens.
