Claus Wassermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelaziz Sanio having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wim Winkler to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th match minute, Hesselte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronald Jener to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Noce took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdelaziz Sanio. Abdelaziz Sanio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Arnold Geldreich scored 6-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdelaziz Sanio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abdelaziz Sanio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claus Wassermann's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Abdelaziz Sanio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claus Wassermann in the 73rd minute of the match. Abdelaziz Sanio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claus Wassermann in the 81st minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Siegmund Zebrowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hesselte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lierenfeld FC the free kick. The supporters of Hesselte booed when Lierenfeld FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claus Wassermann didn't get a good kick on the ball.
