Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Philipp Fuchtel started the match with the kick off. Mischa Oppenheim kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Katzwalchen's Wolfgang Eller proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Katzwalchen from getting a goal against them. If Philipp Fuchtel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philipp Fuchtel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Wolfgang Eller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christof Overkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wolfgang Eller having to interfere. Thies Kiefer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jörg Haller. Fortuna Ballendorf's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Katzwalchen's Henning Brocken got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Philipp Fuchtel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Philipp Fuchtel put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Wolfgang Eller. When Mischa Oppenheim fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Katzwalchen's protests and gave Mischa Oppenheim a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd match minute, Katzwalchen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mischa Oppenheim to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Katzwalchen's zone, Ambrosius Lunau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wolfgang Eller came out of the goal and Ambrosius Lunau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laurenz Nikoleit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Fortuna Ballendorf's Philipp Fuchtel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Karel Bader made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Philipp Fuchtel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wolfgang Eller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wolfgang Eller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Philipp Fuchtel's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Philipp Fuchtel struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Wolfgang Eller didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fortuna Ballendorf. 61 minutes into the match, Katzwalchen's goal looked a bit too open when Christof Overkamp came free, but Wolfgang Eller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Ambrosius Lunau almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Katzwalchen's Wolfgang Eller did a great save. 67 minutes into the match, Katzwalchen's goal looked a bit too open when Philipp Fuchtel came free, but Wolfgang Eller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philipp Fuchtel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Philipp Fuchtel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wolfgang Eller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philipp Fuchtel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Philipp Fuchtel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wolfgang Eller having to interfere. Christof Overkamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Wolfgang Eller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wolfgang Eller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philipp Fuchtel in the 85th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Philipp Fuchtel in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wolfgang Eller saved Katzwalchen from getting behind. Wolfgang Eller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christof Overkamp's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Philipp Fuchtel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Fortuna Ballendorf were the better team. Fortuna Ballendorf's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
