The tension between the FC Barssa2022 and the Dynamo Grimma players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 played minutes FC Barssa2022 got a freekick which was hit by Sönke Marks. 45 minutes into the match, Ovid Abraham notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Dynamo Grimma's Matti Heidsiek. Matti Heidsiek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferdinand Koeppen to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Ted Falter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kim Helbig. FC Barssa2022's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ted Falter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Jonas Goldmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matti Heidsiek having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heintje Sigrist in the 95th minute of play forced Dynamo Grimma's goalkeeper Matti Heidsiek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Barssa2022 were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
