The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ovid Abraham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Egon Mügge made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Mike Strobl sent off a good shot on target. In the 9th minute Erik Arslan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kim Helbig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Arslan in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kim Helbig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kim Helbig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Arslan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonas Goldmann struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Egon Mügge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Barssa2022. Kim Helbig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thaddäus Schwerdt, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Kim Helbig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Arslan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mike Strobl hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Erik Arslan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Kim Helbig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ovid Abraham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egon Mügge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mike Strobl in the 45th minute. If Jonas Goldmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Ovid Abraham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Barssa2022's Heintje Sigrist got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mike Strobl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, FC Barssa2022's Kim Helbig got control of the ball when Erik Arslan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Arslan got free with Kim Helbig in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kim Helbig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thaddäus Schwerdt, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. When Erik Arslan came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Vachendorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Arslan couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, FC Barssa2022's Mike Strobl got a free kick in the 81st minute. Jonas Goldmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Egon Mügge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Vachendorf's goal looked a bit too open when Mike Strobl came free, but Egon Mügge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Mike Strobl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Egon Mügge was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Dominik Döll struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Kim Helbig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vachendorf. In the 97th minute Thaddäus Schwerdt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kim Helbig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that FC Barssa2022 were the better team. FC Barssa2022's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
