Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Heini Glomb got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Siegfried Hegekötter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simon Bahr. Lutter's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Siegfried Hegekötter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Simon Bahr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heini Glomb in the 7th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes Heini Glomb rounded Lutter's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Wolfgang Lieven recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hansel Vortkamp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wolfgang Lieven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Siegfried Hegekötter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wolfgang Lieven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hansel Vortkamp having to interfere. A collision led to Karlsruhe FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Thorsten Kuster hit a great ball. In the 34th minute Wolfgang Lieven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansel Vortkamp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Bengt Heuzeroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Bahr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heini Glomb in the 40th minute of the match. After 41 minutes of play, Karlsruhe FC's Siegfried Hegekötter made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simon Bahr was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simon Bahr stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heini Glomb's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michail Wacker to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Siegfried Hegekötter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hansel Vortkamp didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 53rd minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. Amir Recht charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amir Recht the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Lutter getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Amir Recht hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Hansel Vortkamp successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Lutter's zone, Siegfried Hegekötter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Bahr came out of the goal and Siegfried Hegekötter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heini Glomb in the 73rd minute of play forced Lutter's goalkeeper Simon Bahr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Hennrich during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lutter getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Benjamin Hennrich hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heini Glomb in the 89th minute of play forced Lutter's goalkeeper Simon Bahr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90thth minute of the game Heini Glomb who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lutter's Simon Bahr was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Siegfried Hegekötter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
