Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Immo Thiel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Fritz Bayer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Immo Thiel in the 4th minute of the match. Immo Thiel might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fritz Bayer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Immo Thiel ran back to his position shaking his head. FC Elmshorn's Ingmar Hermann got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fritz Bayer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Immo Thiel in the 11th minute of play. Fritz Bayer made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Ingmar Hermann sent off a good shot on target. Pascal Morek kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Johannesvorstadt FSV's zone, Immo Thiel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fritz Bayer came out of the goal and Immo Thiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, Johannesvorstadt FSV's goalkeeper Fritz Bayer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thilo Gunter Mock. Ingmar Hermann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Brante in the 28th minute of play forced FC Elmshorn's goalkeeper Thomas Schöneberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Immo Thiel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fritz Bayer having to make a save. If Immo Thiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Immo Thiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Fritz Bayer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Elmshorn's Ingmar Hermann got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Ingmar Hermann managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Elmshorn's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingmar Hermann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fritz Bayer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moritz Schulten during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Johannesvorstadt FSV! Ingmar Hermann took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fritz Bayer. Fritz Bayer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 75 minutes into the game, Immo Thiel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Elmshorn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Johannesvorstadt FSV the free kick. Immo Thiel kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Jörg Reymann got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Wim Brante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ingmar Hermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Immo Thiel might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fritz Bayer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Immo Thiel ran back to his position shaking his head. Jörg Reymann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 101st match minute, Johannesvorstadt FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Zuckerstätter to maneuver through the defense. Immo Thiel might have been able to make a better finish in the 102nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fritz Bayer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Immo Thiel ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 102nd minute, Ingmar Hermann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Elmshorn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.
