Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) Michail Wacker started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 played minutes Lutter got a freekick which was hit by Amir Recht. Tom Schwarzkopff took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Simon Bahr. Lutter's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Immo Thiel managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Elmshorn's supporters rose to their feet, but Immo Thiel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Bahr breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Elmshorn's Thomas Schöneberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michail Wacker in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, FC Elmshorn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thilo Gunter Mock to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute Michail Wacker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Schöneberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Immo Thiel came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the FC Elmshorn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Immo Thiel couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, Lutter's goal looked a bit too open when Ingmar Hermann came free, but Simon Bahr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Immo Thiel came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the FC Elmshorn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Immo Thiel couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the match, FC Elmshorn's Tom Schwarzkopff broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 22nd play minute Benjamin Hennrich came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Thomas Schöneberg. 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, FC Elmshorn's Ingmar Hermann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simon Bahr narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amir Recht kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. A collision led to Lutter getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Benjamin Hennrich hit a great ball. In the 30th minute of the match Tom Schwarzkopff shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simon Bahr showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Simon Bahr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Immo Thiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the game, FC Elmshorn's Ingmar Hermann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simon Bahr made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 46th match minute, Lutter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sevim Vees to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Immo Thiel in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Bahr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Immo Thiel sped through Lutter's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Simon Bahr. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Immo Thiel to strike the kick off in the second half. After 62 played minutes, Lutter's Thomas Kloos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thomas Schöneberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lutter reached it. Benjamin Hennrich's late challenge caught a FC Elmshorn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Hennrich helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Benjamin Hennrich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ingmar Hermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Simon Bahr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Bahr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Immo Thiel in the 72nd minute of play. If Immo Thiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingmar Hermann struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Simon Bahr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Elmshorn. Immo Thiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Bahr having to interfere. Ingmar Hermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Immo Thiel in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Bahr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 96 minutes, Ingmar Hermann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Elmshorn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingmar Hermann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simon Bahr made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Ingmar Hermann sent off a good shot on target. FC Elmshorn's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
