Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) BC09's Alex Nebel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jason Nelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Möller in the 2nd minute of play. If Luca Pfister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute Florin Peschke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jason Nelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Galatasaray SK fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Galatasaray SK's Lars Möller looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 18th match minute, BC09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Weidenhammer to maneuver through the defense. Alex Nebel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Bopp having to interfere. After 22 played minutes BC09 got a freekick which was hit by Luca Pfister. If Lars Möller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Konrad Prause hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Lars Möller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jason Nelles having to interfere. Galatasaray SK's Florin Peschke got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Galatasaray SK booed when BC09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Curtis Hegendörfer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Galatasaray SK's Lars Möller got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 39 minutes of play, BC09's Luca Pfister made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dennis Bopp was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Luca Pfister came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the BC09 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luca Pfister couldn't finish the play. When BC09's Alex Nebel in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galatasaray SK's goalie prevented a goal. Edgar Krech's late challenge caught a Galatasaray SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Krech helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to BC09 getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Edgar Krech hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lars Möller made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Galatasaray SK got a freekick which was hit by Trutz Jordan. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basil Mudra during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray SK's Basil Mudra got a free kick in the 55th minute. Lars Möller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jason Nelles having to interfere. Florin Peschke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jason Nelles having to make a save. After having played for 76 minutes, Curtis Hegendörfer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BC09's supporters crossed their fingers, but Curtis Hegendörfer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luca Pfister struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Dennis Bopp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BC09. BC09's Jason Nelles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Möller in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Alex Nebel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dennis Bopp. Galatasaray SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alex Nebel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Curtis Hegendörfer during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Curtis Hegendörfer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florin Peschke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jason Nelles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars Möller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BC09 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Galatasaray SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
