Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sören Scheelen took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 13th minute, Robert Vogelsang made a precise shot to the right of Immanuel Breitwieser. Engelrod FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Otfried Hauser was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Sören Scheelen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sören Scheelen really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Graciano Rogge kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Lothar Picht had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Otfried Hauser. Rickelhausen FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lothar Picht was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Eckart Rohde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Engelrod FC's Sören Scheelen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Otfried Hauser. That made the score 4-1 after 25 minutes of play. Sören Scheelen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Otfried Hauser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Paul Heim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otfried Hauser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Krügers, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When Lothar Picht came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Engelrod FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lothar Picht couldn't finish the play. Otfried Hauser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sören Scheelen, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 45th match minute, Rickelhausen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clint Sauter to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Vogelsang stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Engelrod FC defense, Jurij Sänger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Immanuel Breitwieser. The Engelrod FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Immanuel Breitwieser should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Rickelhausen FC booed when Engelrod FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eckart Rohde didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lothar Picht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Vogelsang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Immanuel Breitwieser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Robert Vogelsang took a quick shot and it went in 4-3 without a chance for Immanuel Breitwieser to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice moves Finn Ohmer could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Immanuel Breitwieser however easily saved by the left post. If Robert Vogelsang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Engelrod FC could leave the field as winners, despite Rickelhausen FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
