Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edo Meling took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5thth minute of the game Alexander Kahsner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sylbach's David Lechner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexander Kahsner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. David Lechner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfons Püttmann in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Lechner saved Sylbach from getting behind. Claudio Credo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edo Meling in the 14th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Bernd Tochtermann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bramstedter TS and the Sylbach players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sylbach booed when Bramstedter TS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernd Tochtermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudio Credo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edo Meling in the 20th minute of the match. Peter Schnarr hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Alfons Püttmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Lechner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfons Püttmann ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfons Püttmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Lechner having to interfere. Sylbach's David Lechner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Kahsner in the 35th minute of play. In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for Sylbach. Hennes Backes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Claudio Credo. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Edgar Pickartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Lechner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfons Püttmann in the 59th minute. Alfons Püttmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Lechner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfons Püttmann ran back to his position shaking his head. Marc Zuse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Alfons Püttmann made a precise shot to the right of David Lechner. Sylbach's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Edo Meling struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Claudio Credo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sylbach. David Lechner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dustin Apostel, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
