Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The audience was convinced that Olaf Humbert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dieter Abelmann was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hahn Fußballverein's goalkeeper Dieter Abelmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dieter Abelmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olaf Humbert went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute, Hippo Winterhalter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Patrik Doderer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Hartmut Löser ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Kalb was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 23rd minute Olaf Humbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dieter Abelmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Olaf Humbert notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Hahn Fußballverein's Dieter Abelmann. Dieter Abelmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Doderer in the 28th minute of play forced Moselkern's goalkeeper Daniel Kalb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hartmut Löser charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hartmut Löser the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th match minute, Hahn Fußballverein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hartmut Löser to maneuver through the defense. After 32 minutes of play, Moselkern's Olaf Humbert made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dieter Abelmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Hippo Winterhalter came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Moselkern fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hippo Winterhalter couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute Jaap Geenen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dieter Abelmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Patrik Doderer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dieter Abelmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Humbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Hahn Fußballverein getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Jindrich Räuschel hit a great ball. Moselkern's Olaf Humbert got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Jaap Geenen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Hahn Fußballverein's goalkeeper Dieter Abelmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaap Geenen. Dieter Abelmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Humbert in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of Moselkern booed when Hahn Fußballverein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Papst didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hahn Fußballverein's Dieter Abelmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Hahn Fußballverein from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Hahn Fußballverein getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jindrich Räuschel hit a great ball. Olaf Humbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Dieter Abelmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Olaf Humbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olaf Humbert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olaf Humbert in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dieter Abelmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olaf Humbert in the 90th minute of play forced Hahn Fußballverein's goalkeeper Dieter Abelmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Hahn Fußballverein's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Humbert came free, but Dieter Abelmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olaf Humbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Dieter Abelmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Moselkern supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Moselkern would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
