An unexpectedly hard shot by David Sprenger in the 4th minute of play forced Osmecke's goalkeeper Esra Töpper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Osmecke's Dino Doll got a free kick in the 4th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Osmecke's zone, David Sprenger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esra Töpper came out of the goal and David Sprenger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oleg Seelert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Sprenger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esra Töpper read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Esra Töpper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oleg Seelert in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, FC Pavonix's Oleg Seelert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esra Töpper made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Leven Abart charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leven Abart the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes Osmecke got a freekick which was hit by Leven Abart. When Jörg Baitinger fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Osmecke's protests and gave Jörg Baitinger a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd match minute, Osmecke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörg Baitinger to maneuver through the defense. Esra Töpper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Sprenger in the 35th minute of the match. FC Pavonix's David Sprenger got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Osmecke defense, Leander Pomper kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esra Töpper. The Osmecke fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esra Töpper should have stopped the shot. The Osmecke players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Pavonix were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leven Abart to make the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Osmecke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Doll to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, David Sprenger managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Pavonix's supporters rose to their feet, but David Sprenger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esra Töpper breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dino Doll kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match.
