Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Markus Fritzen took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Edo Meling managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sylbach's supporters rose to their feet, but Edo Meling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdinand Au breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ferdinand Au took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edo Meling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Lechner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Markus Fritzen went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Markus Fritzen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edo Meling in the 28th minute of play forced Ballspiel-Verein Preußen's goalkeeper Ferdinand Au to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Ballspiel-Verein Preußen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Baumeister to maneuver through the defense. Edo Meling dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 43 played minutes Ballspiel-Verein Preußen got a freekick which was hit by Arnd Schätzle. After 45 played minutes, Sylbach's Hennes Backes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ferdinand Au came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sylbach reached it. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edo Meling to make the kick off. Franz Haug hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Rafael Baumeister who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of David Lechner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Markus Fritzen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. David Lechner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Markus Fritzen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of David Lechner, 1-2. Ferdinand Au showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edo Meling, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Zuse in the 83rd minute of play forced Ballspiel-Verein Preußen's goalkeeper Ferdinand Au to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sylbach's Hennes Backes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ferdinand Au in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
