Esra Töpper made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Lothar Rauhaus sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Osmecke's zone, Niels Koppelin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esra Töpper came out of the goal and Niels Koppelin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Commerden booed when Osmecke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Doll didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute of the match Thaddäus Klein sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Esra Töpper skillfully saved the ball. In the 18th minute, Caspar Loewenheim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Commerden's goal looked a bit too open when Leven Abart came free, but Kalle Bierkamp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rico Rogosch's late challenge caught a Osmecke's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rico Rogosch helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Commerden getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Rico Rogosch hit a great ball. Lothar Rauhaus spun around in front of the goal 25 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Osmecke's goal. Leven Abart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esra Töpper made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Lothar Rauhaus sent off a good shot on target. Rico Rogosch got his second yellow card in the match during the 35th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Rico Rogosch kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Leven Abart ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kalle Bierkamp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 42 minutes into the game, Caspar Loewenheim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Kalle Bierkamp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 49 minutes, Leven Abart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Osmecke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leven Abart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Osmecke were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leven Abart to make the kick off. Caspar Loewenheim who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Kalle Bierkamp when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Josef Mieth kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Osmecke's Leven Abart managed to work through Commerden's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Leven Abart dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. A collision led to Osmecke getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Dino Doll hit a great ball. Lothar Rauhaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esra Töpper having to interfere. Leven Abart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Bierkamp having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Commerden's goalkeeper Kalle Bierkamp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caspar Loewenheim. Leven Abart blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kalle Bierkamp having to make a save. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Commerden's goalkeeper Kalle Bierkamp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Josef Mieth hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Commerden's goalkeeper Kalle Bierkamp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caspar Loewenheim. After 83 minutes of play, Osmecke's Caspar Loewenheim made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kalle Bierkamp was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Leven Abart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 97 minutes, Caspar Loewenheim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Osmecke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caspar Loewenheim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Osmecke supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Osmecke would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
