Thanks to some nice moves Theodor Behnke could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Dustin Ondraczek however easily saved by the left post. Dustin Ondraczek made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Theodor Behnke sent off a good shot on target. Storp's Harold Gelb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tsuneo Janig in the 19th minute of play. Benni Laschke tried in the game's 25th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Dustin Ondraczek. An annoying self made goal, 1-0. In the 27th minute, Heiko Hoffner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Storp's Hansjörg Kala dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. A collision led to Storp getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Gerd Winitzki hit a great ball. Emmerich Lanzenberger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Harold Gelb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Theodor Behnke came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Storp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theodor Behnke couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hansjörg Kala in the 41st minute of play forced Blau-Weiß Paderborn's goalkeeper Dustin Ondraczek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Johann Rachel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Theodor Behnke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theodor Behnke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

It was a penalty for Storp! Harold Gelb came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Blau-Weiß Paderborn's Emmerich Lanzenberger. But to his dismay, Emmerich Lanzenberger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Dominik Bakunin hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Blau-Weiß Paderborn's Tsuneo Janig got a free kick in the 76th minute. Storp's Theodor Behnke got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johann Rachel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold Gelb having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
