After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Marc Blask managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hülsenbusch's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc Blask was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andy Sonnenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eckhard Haaf charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eckhard Haaf the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, barsa01's Eckhard Haaf got a free kick in the 22nd minute. When Marc Blask came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Hülsenbusch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marc Blask couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Hülsenbusch booed when barsa01 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eckhard Haaf didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Oswald Schnappauf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hendrik Klingler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, barsa01's Andy Sonnenberg got control of the ball when Marc Blask tried to sneak it across the goal line. Helko Hundt came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Andy Sonnenberg could save by the left post. barsa01's Andy Sonnenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunter Gnant in the 43rd minute of play. Marc Blask who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Andy Sonnenberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Gunter Gnant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 56thth minute of the game Marc Blask who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but barsa01's Andy Sonnenberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andy Sonnenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Blask, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, barsa01's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Blask came free, but Andy Sonnenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bosse Wottka kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Hendrik Klingler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hülsenbusch had played much better football throughout.
