Klaus Stiel helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes Taubeneiche FSV got a freekick which was hit by Sönke Thölke. In the 21st minute Hanns Heldens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulrich Karp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Taubeneiche FSV booed when Hülsenbusch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Albers didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Marc Blask fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hülsenbusch's protests and gave Marc Blask a yellow card for diving instead. Leander Pfeffer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulrich Karp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leander Pfeffer in the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Taubeneiche FSV's goalkeeper Alexander Kraft had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marc Blask. Alexander Kraft was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marc Blask showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 42 minute of play. Alexander Kraft was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Marc Blask capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marc Blask really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

If Marc Blask had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th match minute, Hülsenbusch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cees Jawurek to maneuver through the defense. After 60 minutes, Marvin Neumer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taubeneiche FSV and the Hülsenbusch players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hülsenbusch booed when Taubeneiche FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marvin Neumer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hülsenbusch's Marc Blask got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulrich Karp made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Leander Pfeffer sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Marc Blask managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hülsenbusch's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc Blask was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Kraft breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the game, Hülsenbusch's Gunter Gnant nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexander Kraft made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1.
