If Timur Dülberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gruberhagen's Fortunato Seer in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tilmann Herzke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joerg-Uwe Marsing having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Piet Heiske during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 11 played minutes Adelheidsdorf FSV got a freekick which was hit by Piet Heiske. In the 12th minute of the match Fortunato Seer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joerg-Uwe Marsing showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tihomir Benada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lukas Zoller in the 14th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eberhard Henninger during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eberhard Henninger hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 22 minutes, Oliver Pässler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Adelheidsdorf FSV and the Gruberhagen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Adelheidsdorf FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eberhard Henninger to maneuver through the defense. Joerg-Uwe Marsing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fortunato Seer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 minutes of play Adelheidsdorf FSV's Piet Heiske was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Piet Heiske kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Gruberhagen's Tilmann Herzke fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. When Gruberhagen's Fortunato Seer in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 34 played minutes, Gruberhagen's Albrecht Kress shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joerg-Uwe Marsing came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gruberhagen reached it. Gruberhagen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Lukas Zoller scored to the left of an out of position Tihomir Benada, making the score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fortunato Seer in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joerg-Uwe Marsing prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joerg-Uwe Marsing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tilmann Herzke, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tilmann Herzke made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Fortunato Seer lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Joerg-Uwe Marsing. After having played for 60 minutes, Tilmann Herzke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gruberhagen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tilmann Herzke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan Pantel kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Adelheidsdorf FSV's goalkeeper Joerg-Uwe Marsing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tilmann Herzke. Joerg-Uwe Marsing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tilmann Herzke in the 67th minute. Joerg-Uwe Marsing came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Gruberhagen's Fortunato Seer. But to his dismay, Fortunato Seer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 73 played minutes Adelheidsdorf FSV got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Pässler. Lukas Zoller hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The supporters of Gruberhagen booed when Adelheidsdorf FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Pässler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute of the match Gruberhagen got a corner. Adelheidsdorf FSV's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fortunato Seer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Albrecht Kress was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 91st minute, Lukas Zoller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tilmann Herzke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Joerg-Uwe Marsing made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Gruberhagen left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Adelheidsdorf FSV.
