Spectators: 7455 (Terracing: 5592, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 149) Lorenz Schnackenberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute, Lorenz Schnackenberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gunther Kreis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 8 minutes, Tonio Rank mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Neulend and the FC Abseits Riesa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Neulend was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tonio Rank to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Neulend getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Heinz Schmieta hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the game, Lorenz Schnackenberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gunther Kreis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 16 played minutes, FC Abseits Riesa's Hischam Kuklinski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gunther Kreis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Abseits Riesa reached it. Gunther Kreis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erich Theißen in the 19th minute of play. When Lorenz Schnackenberg came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the FC Abseits Riesa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenz Schnackenberg couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the match, Neulend's goal looked a bit too open when Fritz Borowski came free, but Gunther Kreis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute of the match Hischam Kuklinski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gunther Kreis skillfully saved the ball. Neulend's Heinz Schmieta got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Durs Grupe came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Neulend fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Durs Grupe couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Durs Grupe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dag Heß recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rene Terwiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durs Grupe in the 45th minute of the match. Hischam Kuklinski kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in FC Abseits Riesa's zone, Durs Grupe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Terwiel came out of the goal and Durs Grupe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gunther Kreis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenz Schnackenberg in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute of the match FC Abseits Riesa got a corner. Neulend's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gianni Nachtwei ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Siegmund Rehnen managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Neulend's Gunther Kreis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Velten Morawitz in the 63rd minute of play. Lorenz Schnackenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gunther Kreis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Durs Grupe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Rene Terwiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neulend's Gunther Kreis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Neulend from getting a goal against them. Dag Heß struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Rene Terwiel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neulend. After having played for 78 minutes, Durs Grupe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neulend's supporters crossed their fingers, but Durs Grupe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gunther Kreis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fritz Borowski went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Erich Theißen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Gunther Kreis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Neulend lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
