Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5632, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andreas Bertsch started the match with the kick off. Gunther Kreis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Bertsch, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute, Andreas Bertsch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gunther Kreis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gunther Kreis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Bertsch in the 11th minute of the match. Gunther Kreis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Thieße, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. A collision led to Neulend getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Patrick Oliver Gallasch hit a great ball. When Andreas Bertsch fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nacken's protests and gave Andreas Bertsch a yellow card for diving instead. 23 minutes into the match, Neulend's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Thieße came free, but Gunther Kreis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliver Blauwink made an important save on a dangerous shot by Durs Grupe in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andreas Bertsch in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gunther Kreis saved Neulend from getting behind. In the 32nd minute, Mark Thieße left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nacken fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 35th minute Mark Thieße shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunther Kreis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heinz Schmieta hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Gunther Kreis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bolko Hinz in the 42nd minute of play. Gunther Kreis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Thieße, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Nacken's Oliver Blauwink got control of the ball when Durs Grupe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Durs Grupe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Durs Grupe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oliver Blauwink was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Oliver Blauwink came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Neulend's Durs Grupe. But to his dismay, Durs Grupe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Durs Grupe struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Oliver Blauwink didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neulend. 60 minutes into the game, Mark Thieße cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Gunther Kreis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gunther Kreis made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Mark Thieße sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Neulend getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ibrahim Vorbeck hit a great ball. Mark Thieße received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Gunther Kreis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gunther Kreis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Bertsch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gunther Kreis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Günter Riestenpatt in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Nacken's zone, Durs Grupe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliver Blauwink came out of the goal and Durs Grupe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gunther Kreis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mark Thieße went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Andreas Bertsch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gunther Kreis was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Günter Riestenpatt got free with Gunther Kreis in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gunther Kreis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bolko Hinz in the 87th minute of the match. Durs Grupe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neulend's Gunther Kreis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Neulend from getting a goal against them. Mark Thieße charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mark Thieße the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mark Thieße hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Günter Riestenpatt hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Durs Grupe in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oliver Blauwink prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Nacken players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
