With a little luck, Wank FC's André Foß got control of the ball when Roman Kuch tried to sneak it across the goal line. Friedemann Nittel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoph Bruhn in the 30th minute of the match. Friedemann Nittel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoph Bruhn in the 36th minute of play. Beienrode's Friedemann Nittel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoph Bruhn in the 42nd minute of play. After 44 minutes, Herwig Gellekum made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Beienrode's Friedemann Nittel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

A collision led to Wank FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Christoph Bruhn hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Kuch in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Foß saved Wank FC from getting behind. Friedemann Nittel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herwig Gellekum, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Christoph Bruhn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Friedemann Nittel having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Herwig Gellekum managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wank FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herwig Gellekum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manfred Ernemann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christoph Bruhn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Manfred Ernemann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Friedemann Nittel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christoph Bruhn in the 101st minute.
