Spectators: 7305 (Terracing: 5583, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 10) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mark Behling got the match started through his kick off. Loris Sawatzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Behling in the 5th minute of the match. Mark Behling took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Loris Sawatzki. Loris Sawatzki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Gabor Kratz took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jörg Gabriel. Jörg Gabriel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Loris Sawatzki didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 18th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. 20 minutes into the game, Mark Behling was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borussia Mönchengladbach's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BVB 09.. the free kick. A collision led to Borussia Mönchengladbach getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Mark Behling hit a great ball. In the 25th minute of the match Josip Bulfon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jörg Gabriel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mark Behling in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Loris Sawatzki, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mark Behling blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Loris Sawatzki having to make a save. Jörg Gabriel came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by BVB 09..'s Josip Bulfon. But to his dismay, Josip Bulfon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Gernot Matzke's late challenge caught a Borussia Mönchengladbach's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gernot Matzke helped the player get up and apologised. Mark Behling struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Loris Sawatzki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Mönchengladbach. In the 38th minute Gabor Kratz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörg Gabriel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes BVB 09.. got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Weng. Mark Behling succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-2 in the 48th playminute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mark Behling in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loris Sawatzki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Borussia Mönchengladbach's goalkeeper Jörg Gabriel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jörg Gabriel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wieland Käppele in the 64th minute of play. With a little luck, Borussia Mönchengladbach's Jörg Gabriel got control of the ball when Gabor Kratz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Loris Sawatzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Behling in the 67th minute of play. Gabor Kratz took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jörg Gabriel. Jörg Gabriel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Oskar Weng got his second yellow card in the match during the 71st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 77th minute, Mark Behling made a precise shot to the right of Loris Sawatzki. BVB 09..'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3. Jörg Gabriel was a little too slow when Josip Bulfon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 5-4. Mark Behling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Loris Sawatzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Borussia Mönchengladbach's Mark Behling nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Loris Sawatzki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-4.
