Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marco Lemke took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Neppenkamp FC booed when FSV Spremberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Sieben didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Lemke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julius Podella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Semjon Jahnke having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Otmar Weippert reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wim Sahr. The goal made the score 1-0. Wim Sahr made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gideon Blech in the 17th minute. After 31 played minutes Otmar Weippert rounded Neppenkamp FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Wim Sahr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otmar Weippert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anno Burger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Otmar Weippert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wim Sahr having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Otmar Weippert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Anno Burger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FSV Spremberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anno Burger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anno Burger in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wim Sahr saved Neppenkamp FC from getting behind. Semjon Jahnke made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Julius Podella sent off a good shot on target. Otmar Weippert struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Wim Sahr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FSV Spremberg. Neppenkamp FC's Wim Sahr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anno Burger in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Neppenkamp FC's Wolfram Schrader got a free kick in the 68th minute. Anno Burger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Otmar Weippert put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Wim Sahr. A collision led to Neppenkamp FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Wolfram Schrader hit a great ball. Wim Sahr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otmar Weippert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Neppenkamp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Otmar Weippert came free, but Wim Sahr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wolfram Schrader kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the match Daniel Merk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wim Sahr showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Neppenkamp FC's Wim Sahr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anno Burger in the 90th minute of play. If Marco Lemke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FSV Spremberg had won after a very even match.
