Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 3 minutes, Otmar Weippert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FSV Spremberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otmar Weippert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 6 minutes into the game, Thomas Bertele was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FSV Spremberg's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Pascal Krauth scored to the left of an out of position Semjon Jahnke, making the score, 1-0. Pascal Krauth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Philipp Prause showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otmar Weippert, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Pascal Krauth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rupert Gerstemeier hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Semjon Jahnke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascal Krauth in the 27th minute of play. A well placed Pascal Krauth short distance shot in the 29th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. After having played for 34 minutes, Bastien Butz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 35thth minute of the game Pascal Krauth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FSV Spremberg's Semjon Jahnke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Pascal Krauth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the game, Hanno Flecken was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stölln's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FSV Spremberg the free kick. In the 39th match minute, Stölln was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hanno Flecken to maneuver through the defense. When Anno Burger came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the FSV Spremberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anno Burger couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Bastien Butz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stölln fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

After a defensive mix-up in FSV Spremberg's zone, Bastien Butz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Semjon Jahnke came out of the goal and Bastien Butz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
