Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Achim Reuther started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Neppenkamp FC booed when FC Kreuzberg Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Vatterott didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julius Podella's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Jürgen Rexhaus skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Marco Lemke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertram Esche hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Niklaus Petzold, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 23rd play minutes Marco Lemke shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Jürgen Rexhaus and just under the crossbar into goal. When Kasimir Gurr fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Neppenkamp FC's protests and gave Kasimir Gurr a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Neppenkamp FC's Kasimir Gurr got a free kick in the 26th minute. Wim Sahr came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kreuzberg Warriors's Hartfrid Krüger. But to his dismay, Hartfrid Krüger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Wim Sahr stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hartfrid Krüger's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Julius Podella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Kreuzberg Warriors's Jürgen Rexhaus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Lemke in the 42nd minute of play. Jürgen Rexhaus was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Marco Lemke capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marco Lemke really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The supporters of FC Kreuzberg Warriors booed when Neppenkamp FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niklaus Petzold didn't get a good kick on the ball. Scott Hintze's late challenge caught a Neppenkamp FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Scott Hintze helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Lemke to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kreuzberg Warriors's zone, Julius Podella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jürgen Rexhaus came out of the goal and Julius Podella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Lemke in the 58th minute of play forced FC Kreuzberg Warriors's goalkeeper Jürgen Rexhaus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wolfram Schrader fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jürgen Rexhaus having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Julius Podella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jürgen Rexhaus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th match minute, FC Kreuzberg Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Scott Hintze to maneuver through the defense. Jürgen Rexhaus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Lemke in the 68th minute of play. When Bertram Esche fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Kreuzberg Warriors's protests and gave Bertram Esche a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, Bertram Esche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Julius Podella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Morris Merz during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Marco Lemke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Lemke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jürgen Rexhaus having to interfere. In the 99th minute, Marco Lemke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Neppenkamp FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. When the referee ended the match the Neppenkamp FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
