Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marco Lemke kicked off to start the match. Frederik Riester's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wim Sahr read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. If Jürg Frosch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederik Riester took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wim Sahr. Wim Sahr dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 11 minutes of play, FC Rügen 02's Frederik Riester made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wim Sahr was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 14 minutes, Konrad Güssgen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Rügen 02 and the Neppenkamp FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Konrad Güssgen hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frederik Riester in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wim Sahr saved Neppenkamp FC from getting behind. Jürg Frosch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wim Sahr having to interfere. FC Rügen 02's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Volkhard Burgmann in the 23rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Volkhard Burgmann got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wim Sahr quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 30 minutes, Jürg Frosch made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Neppenkamp FC's Wim Sahr tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The attack was good, but when Jürg Frosch in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The audience was convinced that Gert Blaumüller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wim Sahr was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Neppenkamp FC's Wim Sahr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederik Riester in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Neppenkamp FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wolfram Schrader to maneuver through the defense. If Frederik Riester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jürg Frosch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wim Sahr having to interfere.

In the 52nd minute, FC Rügen 02's Frederik Riester dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Jürg Frosch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wim Sahr having to interfere. Wim Sahr made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Frederik Riester sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the FC Rügen 02 defense, Marco Lemke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Schön. The FC Rügen 02 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Schön should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Neppenkamp FC's Niklaus Petzold got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Jürg Frosch made a precise shot to the right of Wim Sahr. Neppenkamp FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. In the 68th minute, Klemens Bartels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Frederik Riester came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the FC Rügen 02 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederik Riester couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 77 in the game by Frederik Riester from a close distance when the talented Wim Sahr managed to make a qualified save. Neppenkamp FC's players were relieved. Jürg Frosch struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Wim Sahr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Rügen 02. Wim Sahr came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Rügen 02's Frederik Riester. But to his dismay, Frederik Riester quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. Marco Lemke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Schön having to interfere. A collision led to FC Rügen 02 getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Volkhard Burgmann hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute Jürg Frosch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wim Sahr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Schön took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Lemke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Neppenkamp FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Rügen 02 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
