SV 09 Staßfurt e.V.'s Ludo Höfgen got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, fenerbahce's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Segmüller came free, but Demetrius Jörn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SV 09 Staßfurt e.V.'s Paco Hastenteufel got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 20 minutes of play, fenerbahce's Friedrich Klein made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfons Lücker was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the game, Gustav Segmüller recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Demetrius Jörn. Gustav Segmüller showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. SV 09 Staßfurt e.V.'s Gustav Segmüller got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Demetrius Jörn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustav Segmüller's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. With his leg Demetrius Jörn managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when SV 09 Staßfurt e.V.'s Gustav Segmüller fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gustav Segmüller had several of the fenerbahce's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Demetrius Jörn as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a little luck, fenerbahce's Demetrius Jörn got control of the ball when Ludo Höfgen tried to sneak it across the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Pierre Bode in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SV 09 Staßfurt e.V.'s Markus Bothner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustav Segmüller in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demetrius Jörn saved fenerbahce from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustav Segmüller to strike the kick off in the second half. Gustav Segmüller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Demetrius Jörn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, Uri Skudelny was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. fenerbahce's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SV 09 Staßfurt e.V. the free kick. Gustav Segmüller's late challenge caught a fenerbahce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustav Segmüller helped the player get up and apologised. Demetrius Jörn was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. If Norbert Jelden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustav Segmüller in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demetrius Jörn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The SV 09 Staßfurt e.V. fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when SV 09 Staßfurt e.V.'s Gustav Segmüller looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gustav Segmüller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustav Segmüller in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demetrius Jörn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SV 09 Staßfurt e.V.'s Ettore Gemke got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SV 09 Staßfurt e.V.'s Markus Bothner got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustav Segmüller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Demetrius Jörn having to make a save. If Sven Anders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SV 09 Staßfurt e.V.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
