In the last second Ronnie Schikorra throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ludo Höfgen in the 14thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustav Segmüller got free with Ronnie Schikorra in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Ronnie Schikorra managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when SV 09 Staßfurt e.V.'s Gustav Segmüller fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Markus Bothner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frederik Birke during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SV 09 Staßfurt e.V. booed when 1.FC Rumpelfüßler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederik Birke didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benedikt Ngnoubamdjum made a kick off. In the 75thth minute of the game Gustav Segmüller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1.FC Rumpelfüßler's Ronnie Schikorra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th minute, Ludo Höfgen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SV 09 Staßfurt e.V. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Norbert Jelden kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Ronnie Schikorra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustav Segmüller, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Ludo Höfgen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustav Segmüller in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronnie Schikorra saved 1.FC Rumpelfüßler from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludo Höfgen in the 96th minute of play forced 1.FC Rumpelfüßler's goalkeeper Ronnie Schikorra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ludo Höfgen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie Schikorra having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SV 09 Staßfurt e.V. fully deserved thier win.
