After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Lutz Kreber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Junkersholz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lutz Kreber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Pierz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julian Pierz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominik Selinger, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Wendelin Westerwinter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Julian Pierz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Wendelin Westerwinter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Lutz Kreber notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Iznang FC's Julian Pierz. Julian Pierz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Lutz Kreber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julian Pierz was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the game, Kevin Bäumler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Iznang FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Junkersholz FC the free kick. The supporters of Junkersholz FC booed when Iznang FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Bäumler didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Iznang FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Wirths came free, but Julian Pierz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lutz Kreber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lutz Kreber blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julian Pierz having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Iznang FC's zone, Lutz Kreber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Pierz came out of the goal and Lutz Kreber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Iznang FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Junkersholz FC were winning 0-4.

A throw-in in the 51st minute of the game was made by Sebastian Frölich with Kevin Bäumler as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Iznang FC's Julian Pierz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Wirths in the 57th minute of play. When Almut Amelung came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Iznang FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Almut Amelung couldn't finish the play. When Junkersholz FC's Lutz Kreber in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lutz Kreber in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julian Pierz saved Iznang FC from getting behind. Julian Pierz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dominik Selinger in the 77th minute. If Lutz Kreber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lutz Krebers short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Julian Pierz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Dominik Selinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 played minutes Iznang FC got a freekick which was hit by Karsten Runge.
