The supporters of Hertha BSC II booed when Berge United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dierk Demelbauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Hanstein came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Berge United's Dierk Demelbauer. But to his dismay, Dierk Demelbauer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Manuel Hanstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Gütermann in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Berge United's Dierk Demelbauer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Manuel Hanstein. Manuel Hanstein yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Manuel Hanstein made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dierk Demelbauer in the 20th minute. Hertha BSC II's Manuel Hanstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Gütermann in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Hertha BSC II's goal looked a bit too open when Dierk Demelbauer came free, but Manuel Hanstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hertha BSC II's Manuel Hanstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dierk Demelbauer in the 24th minute of play. After 24 played minutes Hertha BSC II got a freekick which was hit by Karl Flug. 27 minutes into the game, Gustav Schabbel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Hanstein. Gustav Schabbel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, Berge United's Mathias Michael Bechstein got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Manuel Hanstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Michael Bechstein in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute of the match, Mathias Michael Bechstein tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Manuel Hanstein saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 40 minutes into the match, Hertha BSC II's goalkeeper Manuel Hanstein had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Derek Mrozik. Manuel Hanstein made an important save on a dangerous shot by Derek Mrozik in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute Mathias Michael Bechstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Hanstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 minutes, Grischa Bonhoeffer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hertha BSC II and the Berge United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Hertha BSC II was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grischa Bonhoeffer to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Hanstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustav Schabbel, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After some careless play in the Hertha BSC II defense, Dierk Demelbauer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Hanstein. The Hertha BSC II fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Hanstein should have stopped the shot. Manuel Hanstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustav Schabbel in the 67th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes Hertha BSC II got a freekick which was hit by Moritz Legler. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Schabbel in the 72nd minute of play forced Hertha BSC II's goalkeeper Manuel Hanstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Derek Mrozik took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Hanstein. Manuel Hanstein dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dierk Demelbauer in the 79th minute of play forced Hertha BSC II's goalkeeper Manuel Hanstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hertha BSC II's Manuel Hanstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dierk Demelbauer in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Hertha BSC II's goal looked a bit too open when Derek Mrozik came free, but Manuel Hanstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Sven Olano de had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Hanstein. Hertha BSC II's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven Olano de was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Manuel Hanstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dierk Demelbauer, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. There was no doubt that Berge United were the better team. Berge United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
