Viktoria Köln's Peter-Michael Gerig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominik Selinger in the 7th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Lutz Kreber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Junkersholz FC and the Viktoria Köln players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Junkersholz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lutz Kreber to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Ingo Heinzmann dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Werner Brackheimer, 1-0. Lutz Kreber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Peter-Michael Gerig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matthias Wirths fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter-Michael Gerig having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Achim Metzner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter-Michael Gerig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Selinger in the 29th minute of the match. After 29 minutes, Achim Metzner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viktoria Köln and the Junkersholz FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Viktoria Köln getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Achim Metzner hit a great ball. Werner Brackheimer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Klöffer in the 32nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Viktoria Köln's zone, Lutz Kreber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter-Michael Gerig came out of the goal and Lutz Kreber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pavel Kuttner got free with Werner Brackheimer in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peter-Michael Gerig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Selinger in the 43rd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Dominik Selinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Peter-Michael Gerig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Viktoria Köln defense, Lutz Kreber kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peter-Michael Gerig. The Viktoria Köln fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter-Michael Gerig should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lutz Kreber in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter-Michael Gerig saved Viktoria Köln from getting behind. If Lutz Kreber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emanuel Klöffer scored 2-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Werner Brackheimer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicolai Müller kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Junkersholz FC's Werner Brackheimer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Kuttner in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Lutz Kreber ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter-Michael Gerig was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Pavel Kuttner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peter-Michael Gerig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lutz Kreber's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Pavel Kuttner notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Junkersholz FC's Werner Brackheimer. Werner Brackheimer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Klöffer in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Werner Brackheimer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peter-Michael Gerig was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lutz Kreber showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 84 minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Emanuel Klöffer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Werner Brackheimer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Werner Brackheimer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Klöffer, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, Junkersholz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Klöffer came free, but Werner Brackheimer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pavel Kuttner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Many of Junkersholz FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Junkersholz FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Viktoria Köln were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
