After 4 played minutes Surtal got a freekick which was hit by Carl Stager. Oscar Singler's late challenge caught a Surtal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Singler helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Inningen's Oscar Singler got a free kick in the 6th minute. Coronel Carro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Finn Biege in the 7th minute of play. Li Lin Lin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludvig Lundberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Inningen's Per Stiig Lamprecht slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Li Lin Lin. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Raphael Wayer hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Per Stiig Lamprecht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Li Lin Lin having to interfere. Li Lin Lin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balko Kemski in the 16th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per Stiig Lamprecht got free with Li Lin Lin in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hans Maller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Li Lin Lin made a huge save. In the 24th minute, one of Surtal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Surtal. If Per Stiig Lamprecht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Surtal's Li Lin Lin got control of the ball when Ludvig Lundberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Coronel Carro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Finn Biege, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Finn Biege to make the kick off. Ludvig Lundberg struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Li Lin Lin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inningen. In the 57th minute, Balko Kemski made a precise shot to the right of Li Lin Lin. Surtal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Finn Biege's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Coronel Carro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Li Lin Lin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
