The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when SV Eilendorf's Oliver Dillschneider in the 3rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Zoran Gross was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Pütterhöfe through an amazing save. SV Eilendorf's Leo Hildebrandt came free and shot a quick shot against goal 12 minutes in the game, fortunately Zoran Gross had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Pütterhöfe's zone, Oliver Dillschneider stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zoran Gross came out of the goal and Oliver Dillschneider tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leo Hildebrandt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Zoran Gross made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Sebastian Rülke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pütterhöfe's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Rülke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidelio Baader breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute, Jens Kruppke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fidelio Baader was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Sebastian Rülke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fidelio Baader having to make a save. Sebastian Rülke struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Fidelio Baader didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pütterhöfe. Levin Lefering charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Levin Lefering the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pütterhöfe booed when SV Eilendorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Levin Lefering didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidelio Baader showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens Kruppke in the 41st minute of the match. SV Eilendorf's Fidelio Baader played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Rülke in the 45th minute of play. The SV Eilendorf players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pütterhöfe were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jens Kruppke was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Moritz Kreis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SV Eilendorf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pütterhöfe the free kick. Moritz Kreis kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Thorsten Djir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidelio Baader having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Hildebrandt in the 59th minute of play forced Pütterhöfe's goalkeeper Zoran Gross to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Thorsten Djir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Levin Lefering hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Jens Kruppke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens Kruppke got in the 67th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Fidelio Baader handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Fidelio Baader took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens Kruppke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oswald Blome kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Jens Kruppke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Pütterhöfe's Jens Kruppke in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SV Eilendorf's goalie prevented a goal. The referee ignored Pütterhöfe's protests and gave Henning Wetter a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes Pütterhöfe got a freekick which was hit by Henning Wetter. Zoran Gross showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Dillschneider, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Pütterhöfe's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
