An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörg Kolbe in the 16th minute of play forced Artige frei Denker's goalkeeper Adrian Niklaus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artige frei Denker's Aaron Merkmann got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adrian Niklaus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benni Caspary in the 83rd minute of the match. Jörg Kolbe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Adrian Niklaus made a huge save. STV Horst played a much better game than Artige frei Denker and deserved their victory. The Artige frei Denker players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
