The audience was convinced that Benni Caspary's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wigalf Jüdt was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Angelsbruck's Wigalf Jüdt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörg Kolbe in the 18th minute of play. Wigalf Jüdt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benni Caspary in the 25th minute of the match. Jörg Kolbe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee ignored Angelsbruck's protests and gave Rodolfo Bendl a yellow card for diving instead. Rodolfo Bendl hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benni Caspary in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wigalf Jüdt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th match minute, Angelsbruck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Butterweck to maneuver through the defense. Jörg Kolbe hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Rodolfo Bendl was shown his second yellow card after 41 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 44 minutes into the match, Angelsbruck's goal looked a bit too open when Jörg Kolbe came free, but Wigalf Jüdt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gunter Flaht to strike the kick off in the second half. Benni Caspary fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wigalf Jüdt having to interfere. Wigalf Jüdt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jörg Kolbe in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Angelsbruck getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Gunter Flaht hit a great ball. In the 55th minute Frederik Fährmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wigalf Jüdt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
