The Meuselwitz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Wilhelm Reichel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Wilhelm Reichel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jochen Hornung having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Meuselwitz's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Dullinger came free, but Jochen Hornung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Wilhelm Reichel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jochen Hornung was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mehmet Kuhn was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Sebastian Dullinger notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Meuselwitz's Jochen Hornung. Jochen Hornung was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wilhelm Reichel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jochen Hornung prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 82 minutes into the game, Ephraim Haak recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leopold Hartdegen. Ephraim Haak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. 87 minutes into the match, Sebastian Dullinger notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Meuselwitz's Jochen Hornung. Jochen Hornung was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Volker Niklaus hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the game, Erhard Beier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Meuselwitz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RWD2 the free kick. Sebastian Dullinger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
