Harald Bügen scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilja Kalitta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the match, FC Midori's goal looked a bit too open when Benedikt Roemer came free, but Ilja Kalitta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Bügen in the 21st minute of play forced FC Midori's goalkeeper Ilja Kalitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilja Kalitta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harald Bügen in the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, FC Midori's goal looked a bit too open when Harald Bügen came free, but Ilja Kalitta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sascha Berz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Michael Jittler came out and tried to block the shot, but Sascha Berz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 28th minute. After having played for 32 minutes, Benedikt Roemer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tüllinghoff's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedikt Roemer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Tüllinghoff booed when FC Midori was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claus Eggerking didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilja Kalitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harald Bügen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Helmut Döring kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Michael Jittler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sascha Berz, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, FC Midori's goal looked a bit too open when Harald Bügen came free, but Ilja Kalitta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedikt Roemer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Ilja Kalitta made a huge save. FC Midori's Sascha Berz got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Midori's attentive Helmut Döring managed to snatch the ball when Felipe Kempkes made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. Nico Abel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FC Midori booed when Tüllinghoff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niels Bach didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Harald Bügen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Tüllinghoff's Jörn Taube got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Michael Jittler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Bermel, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. FC Midori succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Tüllinghoff had controlled the match.
