Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lazarus Blumentritt got the match started through his kick off. Klemens Bilstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sascha Berz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Sascha Berz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Klemens Bilstein. Hofen FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sascha Berz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lazarus Blumentritt in the 18th minute of play forced FC Midori's goalkeeper Ilja Kalitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lazarus Blumentritt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lazarus Blumentritt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ilja Kalitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lazarus Blumentritt got free in front of the goal in the 26th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ilja Kalitta was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ilja Kalitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lazarus Blumentritt in the 27th minute of play. After 34 minutes, Georg Wulfmeier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hofen FSV and the FC Midori players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hofen FSV's Georg Wulfmeier got a free kick in the 34th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Hofen FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Bernhard Köddermann came free, but Klemens Bilstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Willi Mast charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Willi Mast the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes, Hofen FSV's Hanns Haag shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ilja Kalitta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hofen FSV reached it. FC Midori's Ilja Kalitta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save FC Midori from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

If Lazarus Blumentritt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 56th match minute, Hofen FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephan Lohmüller to maneuver through the defense. Sascha Berz might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Klemens Bilstein. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sascha Berz ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Hofen FSV's Hanns Haag got a free kick in the 67th minute. Stephan Lohmüller might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ilja Kalitta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stephan Lohmüller ran back to his position shaking his head. Ilja Kalitta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lazarus Blumentritt in the 85th minute of the match. In the 89th minute of the game Alfons Pohl made a throw-in which Stephan Lohmüller played forward. 92 minutes into the match, Hofen FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Ludger Gillardon came free, but Klemens Bilstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hanns Haag got his second yellow card in the match during the 95th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.
