Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) FC Wuppi's Beppo Lantermann started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Tüllinghoff getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Niels Bach hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Kasimir Dobler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC Wuppi's zone, Benedikt Roemer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christoph Göttling came out of the goal and Benedikt Roemer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benedikt Roemer in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christoph Göttling, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 14th minute, Hinrich Mitscher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harald Bügen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Tüllinghoff's Harald Bügen in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jörn Taube recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michael Jittler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Blättgen in the 38th minute of the match. When Harald Bügen came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Tüllinghoff fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harald Bügen couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of FC Wuppi:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tüllinghoff:s goal. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Tüllinghoff. Harald Bügen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Christoph Göttling. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Edmund Blättgen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Jittler having to interfere. Tüllinghoff's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Hinrich Mitscher scored to the left of an out of position Michael Jittler, making the score, 2-2. Tüllinghoff's Michael Jittler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Tüllinghoff from getting a goal against them. Michael Jittler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmund Blättgen in the 64th minute. After 74 minutes of play, FC Wuppi's Edmund Blättgen made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michael Jittler was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tüllinghoff's Michael Jittler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Tüllinghoff from getting a goal against them. Michael Jittler didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 86th minute, which inside left pole to 2-4. In the 88th minute, Jann Brückl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC Wuppi getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Krister Hüter hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Bügen in the 91st minute of play forced FC Wuppi's goalkeeper Christoph Göttling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Benedikt Roemer came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Tüllinghoff fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedikt Roemer couldn't finish the play.
