Adidas SV's Achim Uhrig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Adidas SV from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the USAK SPOR 1979 defense, Thaddäus Gehrcke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Okke Jastrzembowski. The USAK SPOR 1979 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Okke Jastrzembowski should have stopped the shot. If Xerxes Graeßner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thaddäus Gehrcke to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigo Noebels in the 56th minute of play forced Adidas SV's goalkeeper Achim Uhrig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rigo Noebels recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Okke Jastrzembowski managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Adidas SV's Xerxes Graeßner fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Thaddäus Gehrcke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Okke Jastrzembowski was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Xerxes Graeßner did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Okke Jastrzembowski 68 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, USAK SPOR 1979's goal looked a bit too open when Thaddäus Gehrcke came free, but Okke Jastrzembowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, USAK SPOR 1979's goalkeeper Okke Jastrzembowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xerxes Graeßner. 79 minutes into the match, USAK SPOR 1979's goal looked a bit too open when Thaddäus Gehrcke came free, but Okke Jastrzembowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Achim Uhrig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Friedrich Hog-Heidel in the 82nd minute of the match. Achim Uhrig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigo Noebels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Burt Klösters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
