In the 23rd minute, Dietrich Bauers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xerxes Graeßners short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Johan Gleißberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 27th minute, Erwin Sander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 28 played minutes Adidas SV got a freekick which was hit by Roger Ries. Achim Uhrig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rüdiger Maul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Adidas SV's goal looked a bit too open when Erwin Sander came free, but Achim Uhrig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adidas SV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erwin Sander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Achim Uhrig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rüdiger Maul in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Rüdiger Maul ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Achim Uhrig was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Rüdiger Maul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Dittlofrod's Erwin Sander ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Achim Uhrig. Achim Uhrig yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Thaddäus Gehrcke took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johan Gleißberg. Johan Gleißberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Thaddäus Gehrcke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Johan Gleißberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johan Gleißberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thaddäus Gehrcke's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Flemming Amelung's late challenge caught a Dittlofrod's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flemming Amelung helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, Adidas SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flemming Amelung to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mattias Naumann during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match was over Dittlofrod could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Adidas SV throughout the match.
