Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 0) Eifel FC's Monty Keilbach started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Monty Keilbach made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Scheck. FC SCHALKE 04's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Samuel Scheck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthias Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the game, Eifel FC's Monty Keilbach nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuel Scheck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 21 minutes into the match, Monty Keilbach had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Scheck. FC SCHALKE 04's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Monty Keilbach was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC SCHALKE 04's goalkeeper Samuel Scheck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26thth minute of the game Matthias Schmidt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC SCHALKE 04's Samuel Scheck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Monty Keilbach scored 0-4 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuel Scheck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Norbert Maurer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC SCHALKE 04's Samuel Scheck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Schmidt in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Monty Keilbach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Scheck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eifel FC's attentive Raffael Pitten managed to snatch the ball when Rainer Eichel made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, FC SCHALKE 04's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Keilbach came free, but Samuel Scheck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Matthias Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Scheck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arend Bollmann charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 45th minute, Matthias Schmidt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arend Bollmann to make the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Samuel Scheck successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Matthias Schmidt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Monty Keilbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Samuel Scheck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Roger Wiegel fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC SCHALKE 04's protests and gave Roger Wiegel a yellow card for diving instead. 93 minutes into the game, one of FC SCHALKE 04:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
