Nicolas Kuschminder lost his temper 26 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 25 minutes into the game, one of Eifel FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 32 minutes into the match, Monty Keilbach notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Adidas SV's Achim Uhrig. Achim Uhrig was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Monty Keilbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Monty Keilbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achim Uhrig having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Eifel FC's Horst Kammerer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Achim Uhrig narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Monty Keilbach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Monty Keilbach to make the kick off. Achim Uhrig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Keilbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Eifel FC's Monty Keilbach got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oswald Pless charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oswald Pless the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Adidas SV's Oswald Pless got a free kick in the 57th minute. When Monty Keilbach came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Eifel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Monty Keilbach couldn't finish the play. If Monty Keilbach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 67 minutes, Horst Kammerer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eifel FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horst Kammerer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute, Monty Keilbach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Monty Keilbach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adidas SV's Oswald Pless got his second yellow card of the match in the 72nd minute. The referee ordered Oswald Pless off the ground. 74 minutes into the game, Jaime Boxberger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eifel FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Horst Kammerer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Achim Uhrig having to make a save. Despite being the better team, Eifel FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
